Build personal AI
for everyone.
MoClaw is a small team building a personal AI assistant that respects the people using it. We ship every week, treat AI as a real teammate, and are working out what a company should look like in an age when agents work alongside us.
Our culture
We are building MoClaw the way any company in the AI era ought to work. Not by bolting AI onto how things have always been done, but by rethinking what teams and tools should look like when agents are real teammates.
01
Unlimited AI tool budget
Every person here gets an open budget for AI tools. ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, image and video models, whatever helps you do better work. The right answer, we think, is to use more AI, not less. Rationing it is a 2023 mindset.
02
Equal and inclusive
Title, tenure, and the size of your previous company do not decide who is heard. The strongest argument wins. We hire on what you can build, and we operate the same way day to day.
03
Agent native by default
We are working out what a company looks like when agents are real coworkers, rather than chat windows. If you have thought about this and want to help build it, this is the right room.
What we look for
Regardless of the area you plug into, these are the traits we hire on. None of them concern credentials.
01
Taste, the kind you can defend
You know good work when you see it, and you can explain in two sentences why something else is off. You have shipped things you are proud of, and a few you wish you could take back. Both count.
02
Allergic to AI slop
AI is the most powerful tool ever handed to a small team, and the fastest way to ship slop ever invented. You know which is which, and you stay on the right side of the line. You use AI more than the next person, not less, because you know how.
03
You finish things
The 90% that does not show up in a screenshot matters as much as the 10% that does. You do not stop until the thing actually works, edge cases included. Half-done work does not ship from your hands.
04
Generalist with depth
You can pick up a part of the stack you have not touched and be useful by Friday. You also have one thing you have gone deep enough on to teach. Both modes matter on a small team.
05
High agency
You see a gap, and you fill it. You do not wait to be told the obvious work, and you do not ask permission for what does not need it. When in doubt, you ask the user, not the org chart.
Areas we would love to hear from
We do not post specific job ads. If your work overlaps with one of the areas below, and you want to do the best work of your career, tell us about yourself.
AI and agent engineering
LLM orchestration, tool-use loops, evals, retrieval, prompt and context engineering. You think in tokens.
Full-stack and web engineering
TypeScript, React, Node, Astro. Performance-minded, allergic to bloat, ships fast and fixes the bug you introduced.
Infrastructure
Sandboxed compute, multi-tenant isolation, cost-efficient cloud. Comfortable in the gray area between platform and product.
Product design
Strong taste, opinionated about defaults, able to code enough to prototype. AI is changing what a UI even is, and we want to reinvent ours.
Growth and DevRel
Write technical content people actually share. Build community, ship demos, talk to users every day. Bonus for a real engineering background.
Content & writing
You know agent-style products well, and you have a real feel for agent-native workflows. You can write technical content that reads like a person and not a press release. Half your week is spent using agents, the other half is spent writing about them.
How to reach us
Send a short note about what you have built and where you would want to plug in. Links beat prose. GitHub, blog posts, side projects, recordings, anything that shows your work. We read every email that arrives.
