For Researchers and Analysts

The AI research assistant that reads and writes for you.

MoClaw is the AI research assistant built for people buried under PDFs, source tabs, and half-finished reviews. Describe the question in plain English. We read the sources, pull the evidence, and hand back a cited draft. No scripting, no scraping setup, no per-source fees.

The problem

Where your research time goes

The reading stack never shrinks

Forty tabs open, a folder of PDFs you meant to read last week, and a deadline. You spend more time deciding what to read next than actually pulling out what each paper claims and proves.

Synthesis is the real work, and it's manual

Reading one source is easy. Holding twelve in your head, spotting where they agree and clash, and turning that into a coherent argument is the part that eats whole days.

Citations and numbers slip

You paraphrase from memory, lose track of which paper said what, and spend the last hour before submission hunting for the page number behind a single stat.

Staying current is a second job

New preprints, competitor moves, regulatory filings, and press releases land daily. By the time you check the feeds, half of it is already stale and the rest you missed.

Your sources don't live in one place

PDFs in Drive, notes in Notion, half a lit review in Word, quotes copied into Slack. Assembling one report means stitching six tools together by hand every time.

You don't need another reference manager. You need an agent that reads the pile and writes it up.

Why MoClaw

Why researchers rely on MoClaw as their AI research assistant

An agent, not a chatbot.

MoClaw carries a research task from start to finish: it opens the PDFs, reads across sources, extracts claims and evidence, and returns a structured draft with citations. Not a single answer in a chat window that you then have to turn into work yourself.

Handles messy, open-ended research.

Real questions don't come with a clean dataset. MoClaw works across mixed formats, contradictory sources, and vague briefs, the same conditions you face when a question is worth researching in the first place.

Local-first privacy for sensitive work.

Unpublished manuscripts, embargoed data, and confidential client material stay in an isolated workspace under your control. Never pooled, never used to train third-party models, never shared. You own every file and every draft.

Pricing that fits research budgets.

Flat $20/month for a managed cloud agent with 1,000 credits included, or bring your own API key for unlimited use at zero markup. Heavy reading weeks don't blow up your bill.

I dropped 23 papers into MoClaw before my qualifying exam and got a one-page brief for each: claim, method, sample, and the two weaknesses. Three days of reading turned into an afternoon of checking its work.

I asked for a competitive landscape on eight vendors and got a cited report with a feature table by Friday. Pulling that together used to cost me two full days of tab-hopping.

Every Monday at 8 I get a digest of new arXiv preprints and three competitor blogs, filtered to my two topics. I stopped missing the papers everyone in my lab was suddenly citing.

Not just a summary in a chat box

We read and write,
not just answer.

Most AI tools hand you one reply and stop. MoClaw runs the whole pipeline: opening every PDF, reading across sources, pulling the claims and the evidence behind them, and returning a structured, cited draft you can hand to an advisor or a client. Less mechanical reading and copy-pasting, more of the thinking only you can do.

Adapts to how you work.

Some questions need a quick scan. Others need a deep review across dozens of sources. MoClaw scales to the task instead of forcing a fixed template. Review every draft and citation before it goes anywhere, then hand off the routine monitoring and extraction once you trust it.

Reading

Structured Brief Per Paper

"Tell MoClaw: "Read these 12 PDFs I just uploaded. For each one, give me the central claim, the method and sample, the strongest supporting evidence, and any limitation the authors admit. Put it in a table.""

MoClaw opens each PDF and returns one row per paper: claim in a sentence, method and sample size, the key evidence with a page reference, and the stated limitations. You skim the table in minutes and know which papers deserve a full read and which you can cite from the brief.

Market

Cited Competitor Research Report

"Tell MoClaw: "Research these eight companies across their sites, pricing pages, and recent news. Build me a report covering positioning, pricing, and target segment, with a feature comparison table and a source link on every claim.""

MoClaw visits each source, extracts the details, and assembles a report with an executive summary, a side-by-side feature and pricing table, and a footnoted citation behind every line. You get a document that survives scrutiny from a client or a partner, not a wall of unsourced bullet points.

Monitoring

Weekly Source and Keyword Digest

"Tell MoClaw: "Every Monday at 8 AM, check arXiv, these three competitor blogs, and Google Scholar for my two keywords. Summarize anything new since last week and post it to my research Slack channel.""

Each Monday MoClaw scans the sources, filters to what's genuinely new, writes a one-paragraph summary per item with a direct link, and posts the digest to Slack. You stay current on your field without the daily habit of checking six feeds and forgetting half of them.

Data

Multi-Page Data Into One Table

"Tell MoClaw: "Go through these 40 pages, pull the company name, headcount, funding round, and last-round date from each, and put it all in one Google Sheet with a source link per row.""

MoClaw reads every page, extracts the fields you named, normalizes the formats so dates and numbers line up, and writes each record to your sheet with the source URL attached. A week of copy-pasting becomes one clean, checkable dataset you review in an hour.

Review

Literature Review Brief

"Tell MoClaw: "Do a deep-research brief on whether remote work raises or lowers team productivity. Find the strongest studies on each side, summarize the evidence, note where they disagree, and cite everything.""

MoClaw gathers the leading studies, groups them by position, and returns a brief that lays out the evidence for each side, flags where methods differ, and names the open questions, with a full citation list. You get a defensible starting point for a review instead of a blank page.

FAQ

Common questions

How is MoClaw different from ChatGPT or Perplexity?

ChatGPT answers in a chat window. Perplexity searches and cites, but you still assemble the work. MoClaw is an agent built around research workflows: it opens your PDFs, reads across dozens of sources, extracts claims and evidence, writes them into a table or a cited draft, and files the result where you work. It runs the task to completion instead of handing you a reply to process.

Is my unpublished data and source material safe?

Yes. MoClaw runs every task in an isolated workspace under your control. Manuscripts, datasets, and confidential client material are never pooled with other users or used to train third-party models. You keep full ownership of every file you upload and every draft it produces.

Do I need any coding or scraping setup?

No. If you can write a research question in an email, you can use MoClaw. There's no scraper to configure, no script to write, and no pipeline to maintain. Describe what you want read and written, give it access to the sources, and it starts.

Can I check the sources before I cite anything?

Yes. Every claim comes with a citation you can open, and by default MoClaw saves drafts for your approval before sending or filing anything. Human-in-the-Loop review is on until you turn it off. Once you trust a recurring task, like a weekly digest, you can switch that one to autopilot.

Which tools and file types does MoClaw work with?

MoClaw imports PDF and Word files and connects to Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail, Calendar), Notion, Slack, and Telegram. It reads live web pages directly, so most of your sources need no import at all. New integrations ship every few weeks based on user demand.

How much does MoClaw cost?

MoClaw starts at $20/month for a managed cloud agent with 1,000 credits included. You can also bring your own API key (BYOK) for unlimited AI use at zero markup, which suits heavy reading and synthesis weeks. See our pricing page for the full breakdown.
