What sources does it search?
Giphy and Tenor by default; Imgur on opt-in. Results are work-safe-filtered by default.
Can I limit to a specific source or content rating?
Yes — say 'only Tenor' or 'PG-only' in the prompt, or set a default in Settings then Media.
Does posting a GIF cost credits?
Search is free. Posting through a connected chat surface is free for that surface's quota.
Can it generate original GIFs?
Animated image generation is on the Image roadmap (FLUX video LoRAs). For now, GIF Search is search-only.
