Video

Generate videos with Remotion. Extract frames and clips from any source.

Three video skills bundled: programmatic video generation via Remotion (React-based motion graphics, animated charts, explainers), frame extraction from any clip, and short-clip editing (trim, concat, crop, subtitles). Useful for explainer videos, social shorts, animated charts, and post-processing recordings.

How it works

3 steps to wire up Video, no engineering required.

  1. 1

    Describe the video

'30-second explainer on how Cron works in MoClaw, with animated steps and a clean voiceover.' MoClaw drafts a Remotion scene composition.

  2. 2

    Preview, then render

Renders a low-res preview in 5 to 10 seconds for you to review. Approve and the full HD render runs in the background.

  3. 3

    Or work with existing footage

Upload an MP4 and ask things like 'extract frames every 30 seconds', 'trim to the section where she says XYZ', 'crop to vertical 9:16'.

Try saying

Real prompts you can paste into Video.

  • Generate a 20-second motion graphic explaining what BYOK means, in our brand colors (#0a84ff and #f5f5f5), no people, no voiceover.
  • Take this 12-minute screen recording and pull out the 3 demo moments as 30-second clips.
  • Convert this landscape interview clip to 9:16 with auto-cropping that keeps the speaker centered, then add subtitles.

Prompt 01 4 steps

“Make a 15-second video for Twitter announcing our new pricing. Brand colors, big text, no music.”

What MoClaw does

  1. 1 Drafts a Remotion composition: 3 scenes, each 5 seconds, animated text reveal.
  2. 2 Renders a 480p preview at 24fps for you to check.
  3. 3 After approval, renders the final at 1920×1080, 30fps, in the background (about 90 seconds).
  4. 4 Saves the MP4 to ~/videos/ and posts a thread-ready link in chat.
Result

You get a low-res preview link in 8 seconds, then a final MP4 in your cloud computer 90 seconds after you approve it. Posts directly to Twitter via the Twitter skill if you want.

FAQ

Quick answers about pricing, privacy, and limits.

Can it generate AI video like Sora?
Not yet. We integrate with Remotion (programmatic motion graphics) and post-processing (FFmpeg). True text-to-video models (Sora, Kling, Veo) are on the roadmap pending pricing stability.
What formats are supported?
Input: MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, GIF. Output: MP4 H.264 by default, configurable to WebM, ProRes, or vertical 9:16 social formats.
How long can the videos be?
No hard limit, but render time scales with length. A 30-second 1080p Remotion render takes about 60 seconds; a 5-minute one takes 10 minutes. Cost in credits scales with output length.
Can I edit my recorded screencasts?
Yes — upload, ask 'trim to the section where I open the dashboard', 'add a zoom on the button at 0:42', 'speed up the typing parts'. MoClaw uses FFmpeg under the hood.
