Screenshot

Capture any web page or screen, with the right framing.

Ask MoClaw to take a screenshot of any URL or any window in your AI Cloud Computer's browser session. Configure viewport size, full-page vs viewport-only, dark or light mode, with or without cookie banners. Useful for reports, documentation, bug evidence, and watching pages over time.

How it works

3 steps to wire up Screenshot, no engineering required.

  1. 1

Give it a URL or a tab

'Screenshot the homepage of stripe.com at 1280×720', or 'screenshot the page I just opened in Sandbox Desktop'.

  2. 2

    Pick framing options

Viewport vs full-page, light or dark mode, mobile or desktop, with or without cookie banners. Defaults are sensible.

  3. 3

Get a PNG inline plus saved to your cloud computer

MoClaw embeds the screenshot in the chat and saves it to ~/screenshots/ for later reuse.

Try saying

Real prompts you can paste into Screenshot.

  • Take a desktop screenshot of moclaw.ai with the cookie banner dismissed, dark mode, 1920×1080.
  • Screenshot the iPhone 14 Pro view of stripe.com/pricing.
  • Every Monday at 9am, screenshot anthropic.com/pricing and DM me the diff vs last week's screenshot.

Step by step demo

What actually happens when you send the prompt.

Prompt 01 4 steps

“Screenshot anthropic.com/pricing on a 1920×1080 desktop with the cookie banner dismissed.”

What MoClaw does

  1. 1 Opens the URL in a sandboxed browser at 1920×1080.
  2. 2 Auto-dismisses the cookie banner via the consent matcher.
  3. 3 Waits for fonts and any lazy-loaded images to settle.
  4. 4 Captures a full-page PNG and saves to ~/screenshots/anthropic-pricing-2026-05-11.png.
Result

Returns the screenshot inline in the chat plus the saved path. Combine with Cron to track price changes — set 'every Monday' and you get a weekly diff with the changed regions highlighted.

FAQ

Quick answers about pricing, privacy, and limits.

Can it screenshot login-walled pages?
Yes, if you've logged in via Browser Control first. The session cookies persist in your sandbox and the screenshot tool reuses them.
What about mobile viewports?
Yes — preset device profiles (iPhone 15, Pixel 8, iPad Pro) plus arbitrary width × height.
Can it diff screenshots over time?
Yes — combine Screenshot with Cron and a diff prompt: 'every Monday, screenshot stripe.com/pricing and tell me what changed since last week's PNG.' MoClaw uses pixel-diff plus vision OCR to summarize changes.
Does it bypass paywalls or anti-screenshot CSS?
No to both. Anti-screenshot tricks (CSS print-only or watermark overlays) come through as-rendered. Paywalled content shows the public preview, not the gated content.
